We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in the facilities of our Resort.

Crystal Beach, a very relaxed and friendly resort, is located on the best sandy beach on beautiful Moira Lake. The sites are set in diverse surroundings and offer the flexibility of self-catering.

For friendly, courteous restaurant service in a beachside setting, you will feel comfortable and very welcome at Crystal Beach Resort.

Take a dip in our outdoor swimming pool, or relax by the poolside on a lounge chair soaking up the rays while enjoying a good book! Even the young ones will be delighted!

Features
Activities
Hiking, swimming, cycling, boating (rowboats, paddleboats, canoes and motor boats), and fishing are some of the recreational activities, which you can enjoy at our Resort.
Enjoy our recreation areas, play a game of horseshoes and be sure to watch the board for special events.
Our helpful front desk looks forward to assisting you in making your stay an enjoyable one.
There’s a lot to do, or do nothing at all - at Crystal Beach Resort - the choice is yours!

Trailer Sales, Sunrooms..building permits:
Our staff would be pleased to show you the latest in new and used trailers for sale.
Crystal Beach offers deck and sunroom construction as well as remodeling services. We will be negotiating the best possible price for the 2008 season. Our prices remain below the competitor prices since we reserve the exclusive right to sell and install sunrooms in the park.

A full line of parts and accessories are available onsite and at the Auto & R.V. Repair Shop.
All buildings,  decks and shed erections must be approved by Crystal Beach as permits may apply.

Pool
Children uner the age of 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult, regardless if there is a lifeguard on duty or not - government regulation! If these rules are not obeyed, the pool may be shut down.
No pets are permitted in this area.

Beach
No pets  are permitted on the beach or in the grassy picnic area at the beach

Picnic Tables & Fire Pits:
If you remove a pit or picnic table from another site a $50 fee applies as we must return it to its proper location. All firepits and tables remain property of Crystal Beach Resort.

Building and Sheds:
Due to new permit by-laws, effective immediately, all buildings, sheds and decks must be approved with Crystal Beach Resort management before construction begins.

Firewood:
Anyone wishing to order a CORD of wood for summer 2007, place your order now:
FALL SPECIAL $157.50 for soft wood, $194.25 for hard wood.

Save the Environment - septic:
only use 1 ply biodegradable toilet tissue. NEVER flush paper towels or plastic or cotton swabs down your toilet. ALL grease and food waste are to be disposed of in the appropriate waste stations not the sink as this clogs the lines as well We thank you for your co-operation.

Garbage Disposal:
Our bins are for Crystal Beach members household garbage ONLY. Garbage must be placed in clear garbage bags and placed in properly labeled bins. Absolutely no black, green or grocery bags. We offer recycling bins, please use them for your plastics and tins. Please do not bring your 'other home' garbage to our garbage disposal site.
Effective immediately, we have a new service in place and will pick up all non-household items such as electronics, bbq's, furniture and wood etc. from your site. If you wish not to be charged for this service, take your non-household items to the local dump. Otherwise, place such items by the roadside every second Monday of the month. DO NOT BRING your non-household garbage to the maintenance shop.
There is a video monitoring system installed at the maintenance yard.

Pets
Your pet is welcome but needs to be on a leash at all times - poop n' scoop is strictly enforced! Pets are not permitted in pool area or on the beach.

Restaurant
Our restaurant opens at the end of June and closes after the September long weekend.

Speed Limit
15 km per hour, for vehicles, golf carts and ALL off-road vehicles.

Golf
Three golf courses are located nearby, one in Madoc and two only 30 minutes from the Resort.

Attractions..
Crystal Beach Resort is located in cottage country at Hwy 62 & Hwy 7, the famous Trans Canada Highway - 2 minutes from Madoc and 30 minutes north of Belleville on the Bay of Quinte.
Supermarkets, shops, banks and a pharmacy, bingo and a casino are nearby.

A few notes to safety and responsibility:

Please enjoy the park responsibly..
This is a family camping ground with many beautiful children playing, running around and cycling. There is a maximum speed limit of 15kms per hour throughout the park.

ATVs and 4-wheelers, please observe safety rules:
All off-road vehicles, ATV's, golf carts must be registered with the office BEFORE being permitted to drive in the park.
OFF LIMITS!!
Stay off septic fields, other peoples sites and property adjacent to Crystal Beach Resort. 
All drivers must obey all Ontario Highway rules, including drives licences and insurances.
NO DRIVING ATV's AFTER 9pm - no exceptions. You are responsible for anyone driving your ATV.
Again, this is a family camping ground - maximum speed limit is 15kms per hour throughout the park.
INSURANCE - childrens reaction times are not as fast as an adult. There is often excitement about showing off so if you are allowing children to drive these vehicles, make sure you have proper insurance as you are not permitted to drive any motorized vehicle at Crystal Beach Resort property without proper insurance coverage. We have the same rules as any Ontario road system. The local police can provide the rules and regulations for you. The OPP have visited the park without prior notice. Wear your helmets!

RETURNING in 2009? YES, a DEPOSIT is necessary:
All sites must have a deposit on account for the following year or we will automatically assume that you are not returning. There are NO exeptions permitted. If there is no deposit registered, there is a chance that your site will not be available for you. Your cooperation is necessary for us to hold your site location.


YOUR CRYSTAL BEACH ACCOUNT:
All site accounts must be paid in full by May 1, 2008. All overdue accounts will be subject to a $100.00 reinstatement charge, in addition to a 2% per month interest charge.
NEW in 2008 - The increasing number of accounts that are in arrears has resulted in much more time being spent contacting members to bring their accounts to date. Should your account not be paid in full by May 1, 2008, power will be disconnected to your site. 

NSF CHEQUES:
There is a fee of $50.00 for all non-sufficient funds cheques. If there is an NSF charge on your account, privilages will be suspended until the full payment and nsf charge have been cleared.

Deluxe Guest Pass 2008
$280.85 includes GST (registration necessary)
Yearly guest passes are available for family and a list of names must be provided to main office personnel. You are responsible for the actions and payments for your guests.
If your guests do not stop and register at the office you will automatically be charged for a full guest pass - no exceptions permitted.

These additional charges apply in all above-mentioned cases and are not included in your Seasonal Site fee.

Labour Rates:
$80.00 per hour for 2 men
(most work is less than $80.00 hour as quotes can be arranged on a flat rate basis.)

Boat & Trailer Storage:
Anyone with a boat, trailer or motorhome in any of our storage facilities must register at the office as we need your trailer licence number. Your name must be clearly identifiable.
A $2.00 per day storage fee applies for this boat & second trailer storage compound service.

Winterizing begins October 9, 2007 and continues for 2 weeks and then the equipment is put away. Call 613-473-4004 to get your name on the winterizing list, if you have not contacted us to make the necessary winterizing arrangements, you must winterize the trailer yourself.
Make sure we have your keys! remember to unplug your trailer after October 8, 2007 or there will be a charge of $13.00 per day.

Cottage Rental
This is a rustic two story fully furnished cottage, built on the hill with southern exposure overlooking beautiful Moira Lake

Rates - Prices include GST (Cdn $)

Monthly   $ 3,600.00

Enter the cottage from the large south facing deck into a bright eat-in kitchen, equipped with a 30” gas range and frost-free refrigerator. Pots, pans, dishes and cutlery are provided.

The main room (lounge) is equipped with a sofa, chairs, coffee and end tables.

On the main floor is a 3-piece washroom (no bathtub). Soap, toilet paper, toiletries are not supplied.

Upstairs is a large bedroom with two double beds and plenty of storage space. Bring your own pillows, sheets etc.. as linen is not provided.

Don’t be disappointed - book early.
